User interfaces

DataQI provides two primary interfaces for users to interact with agents and monitor system activity: the Chat interface and the Agent feed.

The chat interface is the primary conversational surface. It allows you to speak directly with the platform’s orchestrating agents using natural language.

The chat interface is designed to understand intent, manage conversation history, and dynamically route your requests to the most capable specialist agents in the background. It surfaces the synthesized answers, tables, charts, and reports generated by the agent collective.

While the chat interface focuses on user-triggered conversation, the Agent feed provides a time-driven view of workflow runs operating in the background.

The Agent feed is predominantly used to monitor workflows that are triggered automatically by schedules or system events (such as alerts detected via MCP tools). Rather than a simple log, the feed allows you to monitor these workflows interactively.

The workflows monitored in the Agent feed are exclusively customer-specific—built and configured in conjunction with the client to meet their specific operational needs.

Proven examples of these bespoke workflows include automatically responding to system incidents and performing root-cause analysis on connected network infrastructure. This deep observability ensures that even when agents are operating in the background, their decision-making process remains completely transparent and reviewable.
