1. Workflow Infrastructure

This release introduces the workflow engine, a major step in evolving DataQI from a RAG platform into an agentic system. The workflow engine gives the platform the ability to string together multiple tasks, orchestrate actions, and move beyond pure information retrieval into process automation.

While not yet exposed directly to end users, this functionality is built into the platform’s core and will power future capabilities such as:

Predefined workflows for common enterprise use cases, rolled out incrementally.
Bespoke workflows designed and deployed on behalf of customers.
A foundation for DataQI Agentic, enabling assistants that don’t just retrieve knowledge but also act on it.

What you’ll see:

Workflow functionality is built into the platform, though not yet directly available for end users.
Ability for us to create predefined workflows that can be rolled out progressively.
Capability to design bespoke workflows for customers on request.

Other Improvements

Hallucination Handling – More accurate flagging and management of potentially unreliable outputs.
Knowledge Mode Enhancements – Improved controls when deciding between private data only or including the LLM’s broader knowledge.
SQL Connections – More reliable connections and better feedback when extracting from Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
User Feedback & UX – Clearer messages and responses across the platform, giving users better insight into what’s happening during queries and actions.
