Release Notes v0.3

In this release, we’ve focused on giving you greater clarity, control, and confidence when working with assistants. From a new Insights Dashboard to streamlined configuration tools, and smarter file handling, these updates make it easier to manage usage and tailor assistant behaviour. Here’s what’s landed in this release; now live for all beta partners.

Features

1. Insights Dashboard (Usage Monitoring)

We’ve added a new Insights Dashboard to help you track platform usage at a glance. You can now view:

  • Active Users: Number of users with access
  • Assistant Runs: How many assistant interactions (chats & documents) have been generated
  • Storage Used: Data uploaded, or processed, for training

You can toggle between This Month, Last Month, and All Time to monitor usage trends. Visual indicators will show if you’re close to limits; with green, amber, and red alerts depending on usage levels.

We’ve also added a Most Used Assistants table to help you understand where assistants are adding the most value.

2. Assistant Configuration Enhancements

We’ve streamlined the custom prompt settings with a single, unified Configuration page. This makes it easier to define your assistant’s purpose and behavior in a clear, consistent way.

The new Configuration section appears in both the assistant creation flow and the Manage Assistant page, and includes:

  • Assistant Name – For easy identification
  • Description – Define the assistant’s role and purpose; this improves context and enhances response accuracy
  • Instructions (optional) – Add specific rules or behaviours (e.g., “If the question involves pricing negotiations, instruct the user to contact the Procurement Manager.”)
  • Tone of Voice (optional, defaults to “Professional”) – Choose the tone that best suits your working environment
  • AI Model – Select the underlying model powering your assistant

This approach gives you focused control over how your assistant behaves, while ensuring a more consistent and effective experience across use cases.

3. Easier File Assignment to Assistants

From the Data Page, you can now:

  • Select one or more files
  • Click “Add” to stage them in a new Assign Sidebar
  • Review and confirm which files to assign

The sidebar helps prevent duplicate assignments and gives you more control when linking data sources to assistants. You’ll be prompted before clearing or navigating away with files staged.

4. Licensing Limits for Users & Storage

Platform limits are now enforced according to your license:

  • User Limits: If your maximum user count is reached, new sign-ins will be blocked and admins will be alerted.
  • Embedding Storage Limits: When your storage allocation is full, uploading new data or syncing data sources will be disabled. Clear alerts and error messages will guide users.

This helps ensure stable and predictable usage across the platform.

Other Improvements

  • Remote File System Reliability – Improved stability and performance for SharePoint and other connected file systems
  • Duplicate File Handling – Automatically detects and reuses identical uploaded files to prevent redundant embedding
  • …and other minor improvements for performance and usability
