Release Notes v0.2

We’ve been working behind the scenes to bring you more control, transparency, and flexibility across your DataQI assistants. Here’s what’s landed in this release; now live for all beta partners.

Features

1. Web Scraper – Add Websites as Data Sources

You can now pull content directly from selected websites into your assistants. Website data will appear as citations in chat/search and can inform generated documents.

How to get started:

  • Go to Data > Add Website
  • Enter the URL
  • Choose the type:
    • Single page – just the page you enter
    • Multi page (recommended) – the page + directly linked pages
    • Deep search – Coming soon!

⚠️ Note: Deeper scans and more frequent updates will use more resources and may incur higher costs. Websites protected by technology like reCAPTCHA or CloudFlare Bot Management cannot be scanned.

2. Training Progress Monitoring

We’ve added better visibility into training progress, so that you can track when assistants are fully trained and ready to use.

What you’ll see:

  • % progress for each data source as it embeds into the DataQI engine
  • Overall progress across all data sources
  • Visual indicators on the Assistants page

3. Training Rate Limits

To help manage and control unexpected usage costs, we’ve introduced training rate limits across your organisation.

Training will now be throttled based on a weekly limit to prevent overuse.

4. Microsoft SharePoint Connection

Users with Resource Manager access can now connect SharePoint libraries or folders directly to assistants.

This allows assistants to be trained on files stored in your organisation’s SharePoint, enhancing responses and document generation with up-to-date internal knowledge.

Other Improvements

  • Enhanced Navigation Panel – Streamlined layout for quicker access and improved usability
  • Prompt Controls – Added safeguards to prevent edits to critical system prompts
  • Summarisation Optimisation – Reduced token usage during AI runs for better performance
  • Improved “Get Started” Page – Clearer guidance for new users
  • …and other minor improvements for performance and usability
